NOISE TRAINING PROJECT WORKSHOP IN MADRID
Noise Training Project (NTP) aims to develop sharing of good practices on noise management in audits between European countries, which will improve the acoustic quality of urban environments. The main outputs of the project are a common curriculum on environmental noise and the handbooks on legal, technical and communicative aspects of environmental noise management.
This workshop was organized by the project partner Universidad Politecnica de Madrid and In order to disseminiate the project and the outputs in an international level, it was held within the Program of INTER-NOISE 2019 which was the 48th International Congress and Exposition on Noise Control Engineering that is one of the most important congress on acoustic field throughout the world.
In this workshop, NTP partners presented the project and the advances achieved in order to involve experts from different countries who can contribute their experience, and thus optimize the results of the project. Special attention was paid to the development of Virtual Noise Audits, an academic training and assessment tool that the consortium has been developed.
The workshop news was published on the journal of “Noise New International” and this created great effect to disseminate of NTP.
